In what ways can i work with you?

Psychotherapy services are available to those in KY, TN, and OH as this is where I’m licensed. I specialize in narcissistic abuse, CPTSD, betrayal trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, and helping introverts/empaths thrive. If you’re outside of those states, please reach out to see if I am eligible to provide therapy in your area via the Counseling Compact.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth services?

Currently, I offer telehealth services only. I can provide you with a secure video link via the SimplePractice platform.

What kind of therapeutic modalities or techniques do you use?

I take a holistic and trauma-informed approach to therapy, which means I see you as a whole person rather than just a bunch of symptoms needing a label. I believe in understanding each person based on your unique experiences, emotions, and personality traits. I incorporate strategies and techniques from DBT, IFS, ACT, CBT, and also look at schema and attachment-based theories, all tailored to create a supportive therapeutic experience that encourages healing and growth.

What do therapy sessions cost?

The rates are:

Individuals

25-min sessions: $87

45-50 min sessions: $175

80-min sessions: $280

Currently, I don’t offer couple or family sessions.

Any length of session that falls outside of the previously mentioned ranges, paperwork sent for review, or collaboration done on your behalf will be billed at a prorated amount.

What if I can't afford your therapy services?

I understand everyone isn’t able to afford individual therapy sessions, which is why I also offer a group program and wrote my bestselling book!

Do you take insurance?

Currently, I am not accepting insurance. I am private pay only. If you are a therapy client, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. If you are going to rely on getting reimbursed, I would advise you to do this before engaging in any sessions, making sure to ask your insurance company what diagnosis and CPT codes they cover and how many sessions they will pay for.

What is it like to work with you?

As a therapist, I take a very collaborative, compassionate approach because I’ve seen that the most important aspect of healing is a safe, supportive relationship. I create a space where you can feel seen, heard, understood, guided, and supported. Ultimately, I want all of my clients to know and feel… you’re never really alone. I’m here with you! I believe in helping my clients leave each session with a sense of clarity, hope, empowerment, and belief that positive change is always possible.

How long are therapy sessions?

The most frequently chosen sessions last 50 minutes. Extended sessions are 80 minutes. If you need a shorter session just to “touch base” or address a specific concern, 25-minute sessions are available for those instances. Back-to-back 50-minute sessions are an option as well.

Do you require payment on the day of services?

Yes, you will add a credit card or HSA card to your client portal via SimplePractice and it will be charged at the end of the day after a session. SimplePractice offers a secure and HIPAA-compliant platform for your personal information and payment method.

How often will we meet?

The frequency of sessions depends on your needs!

For therapy, most clients prefer to start out meeting once a week and then slowly space out sessions from there. However, if you’re unable to or do not wish to meet once a week, we can figure out a schedule that works for you!

Do you provide resources outside of therapy sessions?

Yes! I often provide clients with a list of books, articles, and videos to supplement our work together.

How do i book an appointment?

You can request an appointment by filling out the short form on my contact page!

Is everything I share in therapy confidential?

I want to be transparent about the limits of confidentiality to ensure a safe and trusting environment for our work together. While your privacy is very important, there are certain situations where I may be legally or ethically obligated to disclose information. This includes instances of suspected child abuse, threats of harm to yourself or others, or when mandated by law. I will always strive to inform you if such circumstances arise, and we can discuss the implications together. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences, while also understanding the boundaries that exist to protect not only you but also the wellbeing of others.
